Michelle Chapman: I Dreamt a Cardboard Rocket Poem

I dreamt a cardboard rocket ...

a poem by Michelle Chapman

I dreamt a cardboard rocket was flying me up to space it was sliver and gold you have seen my face , as I strapped myself in I invited everyone in . We laughed and we giggled so much it hurt. Then our mum called us we came back down to earth we told our mum all about it she didn't believe a word, but she said " next time u go on an adventure , do u want to decorate it first" . I love my cardboard rocket I hope it never brakes but if it does I can recycle it and see what else they can make.
