I dreamt a cardboard rocket ...

a poem by Rachael

I dreamt a cardboard rocket would take me to the moon, I'm inside my cardboard rocket it's time to take off soon.
I dreamt my cardboard rocket whizzed me high above the sky's, I got to space so fast I could hardly believe my eyes.
I saw a great big planet as red as red could be, I saw from the other window a funny green creature looking in on me.
My new friend took me in my rocket to see planets big and small, shooting stars and asteroids he took me to see them all.
Like fireworks in heaven I hope this dream will never end, because I like being with my brand new best friend.
We landed on a planet to have a better view of mars, and came back ridding beside the shooting stars.
I would love a cardboard rocket to make my dreams come true, if I had a cardboard rocket I may just paint it blue.
