Lizzie Melsom: If i had a castle, poem about a Kid-Eco Cardboard castle playhouse

If I had a castle ...

a poem by Lizzie Melsom

If i had a castle
i would play and would dream,
Of knights on white chargers
and princesses who scream.

I would let down my drawbridge,
I would let them all in,
We would gather around
letting great fun begin.

We would ride in the gardens
with royal kings and queens.
We would break out of the dungeons,
and escape down the stream.

My castle would sparkle,
my castle would glow
And my castle would fold flat
when to bed I did go.
